Sue is on a 26 national city tour providing workshops and teaching instructors.   We were lucky enough to attend a sold out workshop locally.  I can honestly say I walked in with assistance and walked out without and little pain.  Slept the most comfortable night.

ABOUT THE MELT METHOD

Cellular repair helps people look better, feel better and sleep better, according to Sue Hitzmann.  People will feel the effects of MELTing by only committing 10 minutes to it a day, if someone is in a lot of pain, Sue recommends MELTing for up to an hour before bed. By doing this, the body can repair one’s cells while they are sleeping.

Now, I have performed the Edgelow Protocol for a decade nourishing the spine, occipital release and opening up the thoracic tension.  A home therapy used as I roll out of bed onto the floor and throughout the day.  Diaphramatic breathing, the floor, air pillow and the foam roller have been my best friend.   The MELT method has the same components going a huge step further nourishing the connective tissues.

The MELT method can be as simple as placing a small ball underneath your foot or between your hands and gliding the ball back and forth. MELTing on different parts of the body is necessary because it can be difficult to identify an actual source. Using her SOFT roller is much more tolerable than the hard foam rollers accustomed to using at home and the therapist office.

“You could have neck pain but the [dehydrated tissue] might be near the ribs,” said Hitzmann.

*Combining The MELT method, Peter Edgelow’s Protocol and my personal physical therapist’s self treatment definitely is my daily multi ritual.

URCHASING

MELT is so popular the website has been sold out for months.  However, it seems as though instructors of workshops may be your first line to purchase as I did.  The softer foam roller Sue has designed is much more accommodating than the typical PT foam roller used all these years.
