I have been a Marriage, Family Therapist and Clinical Hypnosis & Guided Imagery Therapist in private practice since 1986.

My specialty is treating people with life-altering medical conditions using the wellness techniques of hypnotherapy, Interactive guided imagery, cognitive behavioral therapy and Therapeutic Creative Expression. I match the appropriate modality to each client. My goal is to help people feel better, be better and do better as fast as possible.

Therapists and health care professionals refer clients to me for short-term help as an adjunct to their own treatment.

As a senior faculty member with The Academy for Guided Imagery since 1989, I’ve had the honor of training hundreds of health care professionals: doctors, psychiatrists, LCSWs, MFTs, psychologists, acupuncturists, chiropractors and physical therapists from all over the United States in the use of Interactive Guided Imagery(sm) for mind-body health and healing.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1996. It all began with excruciating pain in my neck, shoulders and arms, which I now know, was TOS. Had I been diagnosed with TOS at the onset I might not have developed full-blown fibromyalgia

I’ve personally experienced the power of combining psychological insight, creative expression and laughter for my own healing and well-being. A goal of mine is to teach as many healthcare practitioners and patients as I can how Therapeutic Creative Expression can help with TOS, fibromyalgia or any life altering condition.

I’m delighted that The National Fibromyalgia Association honored me as one of 35 people in the united States as a 2005 and 2006 “leader Against Pain” for my work with people with life altering conditions and facilitating In the Face of Pain, community outreach Therapeutic Creative Expression workshops.

If you have any questions I would be happy to speak with you. I can be reached at (949) 249-8402
